This. I've seen up very close situations of women into abusive relationships and sadly it's just like this. Ppl who critize the charac or the portraying have never seen it nor experienced it and that's a blessing but for reading purposes they won't get what's being discussed in here.
Exactly @calis ,it's easier to feel frustrated while reading but imagining that this is the life of so many people regardless of race, gender or age is just plain scary. Praying for no one to have that life where you are faced with these situations ever. Amen.
FL being teary eyed is doing a number on me… coming from a broken family to initially getting love from the man she loved would of course have her hesitating to leave even if she knew her husband was cheating. For the people who are bashing her, try to put yourself in her position. She’s probably thinking it will get better soon, and her self esteem is so rock bottom istg leaving this man is more of a hassle than selling her honour.
