I think i really liked this MC. His reactions to everything was very realistic and the author wrote him very consistently. Going along with things to survive. And even if he hated his cousin, he doesn't want that blood on his hands which is very realistic.
I only wished that they addressed this very obvious power imbalance in their relationship. When MC literally cannot say no sometimes because Vasya may kill him. Or the constant fear that Vasya may kill someone else in front of him...
