Ariel mention something about a man she admired and that man also tells her that her house is serving the Joachim as a nation not the person who sit upon the throne
since we already know prince is his little pearl, can't help but hate ariel for a little bit why are you lying to him??
my guess is prince hired her and told everything so that her lie would be believable even jean intuitively knows something's not right
