well tbh he's surrounded by his childhood trauma constantly. He has no other way to cope basically. But not just that it seems like more so than taking it on them he just doesn't want to be director and get away from it all. Since Im assuming he can't do that he's trying to do the bare minimum
I can understand the way he feels, but does he have to take out his anger on the children???
