Sorryyyy, meant to upvote but I think she’s genuinely dense, and I hate it so much when authors make fls so dense regarding mls feelings like he isn’t on his knees for her right now

She knew, the he likes her and the young Louise. She is pretending not to know. Because she feels like she is not the real loiuse. And her and loiuse is different. It was mentioned in the previous chapters. But i bet she likes him back now

Completely agrees with you . And on the other hand every one is keeping everything from her even though it's her life it should be her decisions. And ML do not even discuss anything with her in the end she doesn't even have a say in anything. I hate it . I hate the feeling of keeping me in dark anf make all the decisions and do every thing. I hate this part of the story. Very hurtful to me as a women .

If you look at the details, dense, dependent, or wishy washy FLs, are almost always paired with manipulative, abusive, or crappy MLs. It’s a way for authors to justify an objectively nonsensical or bad relationship. Nine times out of ten the author will drag down an FL before giving the ML legitimate growth or character development to make the relationship functional.
If you observe the actions of the FL when the ML is and is not involved you often start to see two obviously disjointed personalities. Unfortunately the FL is usually built to compliment or validate the behavior of the ML, and that is definitely the case here as well.
However, this ML is very good at subtle manipulation, redirection, and gaslighting to get her to act the way he wants. If you go back at any interpersonal conflicts they have had, he trivializes her, gaslights her, lies about what’s really going on, or redirects until she gets distracted. EVERY SINGLE TIME. he never takes responsibility, owns up that he knew she wouldn’t/doesn’t like what he was doing and did it anyway because it was to his benefit. He may not cheat, but he is not a good partner, and he does not respect her as a person

That’s a very good observation. Truth to be told I just read this one for the sake of it and basically skim through it, so it was bound to happen that I just skip over those details since I’m not directly invested in the story per se. But reading your comment now, where you point out those little details, it’s definitely making sense and I can see the manipulation the ML does here, since I do remember a few scenes where that happened — and it was definitely frustrating, so I could emphasize with the FL.
