Tbh if i was in her situation i would be so frustrated. I would cry all the time and yes, asked for the newts to be killed. I would run away when the newts had their downfall but other people have their own decisions to make. We cant really forcefully put our perspectives on other people. We have to understand their position.
The mc is actually very mature. She’s calm and thinks things through despite being abused her whole life and shunned by others. Her past life(the one where she doesn’t remember) is what you guys want her to be. Cold, makes decisions quickly and kills people who stands in her way. I get that you want her to be like her past self but it’s refreshing to see an mc who doesn’t think about trying to kill those who have abused her. She’s not a fool, she just started standing up for herself, and from one of the chapters, she is thinking of what kind of revenge she’ll have for the newts. Killing isn’t always the issue, she chose peace for the time being so she could garner up the courage to confront the fuckers in her life. Yes, with the power of the dragon she could just wish for a peaceful life far away from the newts, but lets just see what she wants to do…
