Translating from Korean can definitely be confusing due to lack of usage of subjects so I can see how op misunderstood but it really is a stretch to interpret taeju undoing all that character development just to end up being a jerk lmao

The miscarriage is totally fine, it makes sense. The baby should be at least given a thought after a stable relationship. The worst is the shit Taeju said after he supposed loved one lost a child. This was arguably the worst thing he did. Maybe he thought of this as act of self sacrifice.He is the only one at fault. He should be sick of him self. And yet art clearly emphasize he is rather sick with EH( EH becoming black faceless figure in his memories, good and bad, and in reality). He blames himself, BUT he punishes EH for this, because EH now associated with all this. Taeju is at the worst possible moments refused to atone for his actions, fixe his mistakes, take care of consequences. How fucking convenient. He really did for himself, didn’t he?
