Basic plot: "The story told in the myths is only what the humans thought happened, because the gods never told them the REAL story, which was: that the god everyone thought was the villain was actually acting like a villain to hide the truth that he was the victim of another god, all along. Now the god that everyone thought was a villain needs to clean his image and atone for the cruel things he did to humans while pretending to be a villain, and also find a way to expose the REAL villain in the story: the other god who hurt him.
In other words: that the god that humans thought was the villain was just a scapegoat (even if he wasn't completely innocent, either)

Minor spoilers
So Seth (mc) is the ruler of Egypt. He stole the throne by killing his older brother Osiris and he's kinda tyrant king. One day his older sister Isis (god of magic) comes to his temple with her son Horus (ml). She claims the throne of Egypt for her son, as he is the son of the previous king, Osiris.
Yes Osiris married his sister don't worry about it they're gods so incest somehow doesn't work between them.
They ambushed his temple and took him to holy court of gods, because they knew no one could take him down in fight 1vs1. In court, all the other gods gathered, but they all are terrified of Seth, so they're scared to say anything bad about him. Then Osiris appears and he testifies against Seth. With this, Isis managed to take Seth to 3-stage trial. The contestants were Horus and Seth. The trial was more like a competition. And the winner would seize the throne of Egypt.
Now here goes big spoiler alert.
In the first trial we found out that Horus is in love with Seth and that he never wanted to stand in his way. Seth won the the first trial.
After the second trial (Horus won this one) Seth tried to rape Horus, but he got kinda fucked over. Literally. They changed sides and it was Horus "raping" Seth. After that we found out that Seth killed his brother in the first place, because Osiris raped him first. Then there's something more, but we skip to third trial.
In this they're fighting monsters, but Seth's sword broke and because of some penalty his son, Anubis, has to give him new weapon. He gives Seth some kind of cursed bracelet (that was made from Anubis's arm) and it shows Seth the things he has done to normal ppl. He's in some kind of transe after that so he loses the third match.
In the end, Horus won and Seth is banished to the desert, and he's not a god anymore, only demi-god. He's gotta see and feel.what his victims did and became a better person and attone.
And that's basically the plot of S1. I didn't include bunch of important things, but I hope it helped you a bit. It took me like an hour to write, but I love Ennead with all my heart so no prob. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I'm sorry everyone ... I'm thinking about starting to read this But can anyone describe the what this manhwa is about what is the plot is? I'm not very well versed with Egyptian mythology as far as my study goes I've studied about Tutankhamam and Medusa (I don't know if they're considered within Egyptian mythology. I'm sorry... I'm actually a Hindu. I only have 5-10% knowledge of Egypt but I want to understand every nook and corner of this story so pls guide me! Only explain basic plot pls
