OK soooo I did not remember how it ended if I did I probably wouldn't touch it again... I usually love angst and I can appreciate a good tragedy but the ending just feels rushed...like not just the last chapter the whole last arc of the story was so rushed. All the Maggio bullshit felt like it came out of nowhere like there was no real weight to his motive and it feels like such a waste of a good story and world building... This could easily be 80 to 100 chapters to fully bring out characters and to let the story develop naturally. Still not a bad read if you like gut punching angst I in my little head cannon will think that the wife is a lesbian and Anton and her will both live with their own lovers but under the pretext of the conventional marriage they have and Anton's anxiety will get better in time and he and Arwin will then live a happy kinda normal life. There that's the real ending
