He’s rather simple minded and quite trusting(prob just naive tbh) but remember the time he met his grandfather all he was told is that he should win the affection of the person he likes and honestly he has been mature about it and hasn’t been hostile at all to Mr firecracker hair. I think you miss my point. If you go into a relationship where your interest has an ongoing interest in someone else, then, you're obviously choosing to put yourself through the pain of getting between them. Dochan knows Eunho and Joohyuk have a connection, yet he is hoping to sail happiliy into the sunset with Eunho. While he's a decent person, getting between these 2 comes with deserved pain which he is going through right now.

I completely get what you’re saying. Dochan is pretty naive but I’m not sure if I recall him actually knowing that they even slept together? I can’t remember if this was discussed. However even from his pov it is pretty clear to see that there is some connection although seeing how simple he is he might not guess just how deep it actually goes
