This is a controversial opinion

I just came from watching Stephanie Soo’s video on Tzuyang, so I apologize in advance since I might be overly sensitive.
I have watched the Miryang case video, the Burning Sun case video, Goo Hara’s and most of the crimes against women covered by Stephanie. Every single South Korean story I hear just consolidates more my preconceived ideas: if this is really life in S. Korea I absolutely understand why they are “going extinct”.
Like here, why bother making a child suffer this much? Why care about your honor so much? Why anything equals money? Don’t get me wrong, in the West we are also rotten to the core we even export our problems, but it feels like in these countries there is literally no fucking scape other than self-exit, since they won’t even scape scrutiny moving to a different country.
These stories just make me feel like Korea is a dystopian society where the weakest link just gets absolutely trampled on by everyone trying to scavenge for a little bit of profit. It scares me, even if the story is no even real.

SK is a misogynistic country and if your son/daughter is problematic, its always the mothers fault, though i think its pretty common in every country to blame the mothers. It seems to me the seme mother's just stayed with that man under the pretense of complete family because for Asians you get scrutinize for that. (I might be wrong since tha author didnt cover that part yet)
