It's been a few years since I read this manga, but I still feel like the way they ended up together, irked me. Would they have ended up together if Sumi didn't find out he was being used by Shiratori? Would he have chosen Utou, if he didn't find out Shiratori was an asshole?
I don't know, I think the ending of this was seriously rushed. They also dragged this manga a lot by inserting Miyabi and Kei and giving them way too much screen time, instead of focusing on Utou and Sasabe. This manga deserved to focus fully on Utou and Sasabe and develop their relationship more. Instead of inserting new drama every chapter and creating more conflicts.
Looking back on it, this was an exhausting read. The author constantly trauma dumped about the characters in the story and decided that was good enough writing to develop the characters and their relationships.
