Why do they trivialize/dismiss Soorim’s behavior?

I’m really upset about how everyone trivializes Soorim’s actions and emotional responses. He was isolated and held against his will since he was a child by violent abusive men, finally managed to escape, only to end up imprisoned by stranger again. Sure, the cage is prettier, but that’s still what it is. Nobody has really explained anything and even if they tried he has absolutely no reason to trust them. But he’s the silly/childish/naive one for acting desperate, trying to appeal to his second captors through every means available to him, and trying to escape without a concrete plan?
He’s clearly psychologically and emotionally stunted by trauma, and lacks any real world knowledge or education, but it’s insane that they are supposedly protecting him altruistically… without explaining anything, yet expect him to trust them and be obedient. They have already mentioned that they have connections to the group that was holding him captive. I just hate the way they talk about him like he’s a mischievous little troublemaker that just doesn’t know any better when he’s just responding rationally to a very threatening series of events.

He is portrayed that way but I don't think the ML is treating him that way. It is protested that way because he has been locked up since a child w/o proper socialization.

*It's a prettier cage* but if he were to be let out if that cage he will be defenseless. Even assuming he is safe from the chairman he would have a very hard life.

I understand that the ML is trying to protect him, but my point is that all the people around him make all the choices for him and offer little to no explanation, but then act like he’s being childish or immature for not blindly trusting strangers who kidnapped and are holding him against his will after a lifetime of being abused.
It’s not about their intentions, but the condescension in their lack of communication which feeds into his distrust. And then when he has hostile or avoidant reactions they just treat him like he’s being ridiculous, rather than recognizing that he’s severely traumatized and they’ve done nothing to foster trust.
In fact, they’re keeping so many important secrets that any trust they do build up will likely be damaged when he finds out they’ve been keeping it from him. He may be traumatized, but he’s still shown himself to be determined and resilient.
So who really benefits from them keeping those secrets? Is it actually that they want to spare him the difficult truth (which entirely shapes his life and he will inevitably learn anyway), or that they think he will be easier to manage without knowing about the full picture? Even if they intend to protect him, I’m pretty sure it’s the latter.
My point is they’re really not respecting him as an autonomous person. He already knows he’s not able to leave and everything is going to happen on their terms, but I don’t think it’s right for them to keep such important knowledge about his body and why he’s always in danger from him just for the convenience of not dealing with his reaction or having it actually reason with him about how best to handle the situation.

    No. I totally see that.

But from what I can tell....I've read a bit more of the raws and it makes more sense. But from what I can gather is that WooKyung treats him like a child because of their age gap. And because he knew him as when Woorim was a child. (sorry if I got the name incorrectly, been reading too many plus real life trauma). Also, as you can see Woorim is carrying around a teddy bear. Also, in later chapters it mentions he understands that once the mark appears he was ____ I will let those chapters come. I do not know one-hundred percent his understanding that he is being sold for the express purpose of having sex. I'm assuming that's what he had been "nurtured for" all those years. But just the fact he sleeps with and carries around a bear and not understanding what an ID card is ... And ML knowing him when he was a child (though MC doesn't seem to have any recollection of it, esp. because his mom keeps warning him about the red eyes, so that he is wary of all red eyes ppl, including ML) and still seeing him as a child, even though he has come of age. He is said to be 20. But I'm not sure. I thought they knew each other when he was 8. Which makes him 18, given his captivity of 10 years.
