Oohhh so theories anyone?

There are a couple spoiler comments from a while ago if you want to know what's happening

My theory is that they both regressed to the past. However, ml doesn't know about mc's pov or circumstances, he just thought mc hates him. and mc doesn't know he regressed, he just thought he's in a tragic novel he read in which both of them are the main characters.
