Really? I like it and I mean it's often depicted as the only resolution possible and/or he's able to think of.
It's also quite realistic that he's so self sacrificing since from the start it was established how his personality is like that from a caring parent for his brother even though his real parents were scared of his brother.
So either he just loves nurturing or is greatly empathetic or more likely both of those traits.
And those traits made it possible for MC to get so OP and get that story rolling.
It would've been just unrealistic that he would suddenly drop those characteristics so easy.
real. also yoojin has a lot of guilt towards yoohyun (both from his death in the first timeline, and when he once almost left him in their childhood), so he overcompensates a bit too much as well. their bond isn’t really sibling-like- if you understand that they are more like parent-child the dynamic will make a lot more sense. yerim and yoohyun are a lot closer to what a regular sibling relationship with 5~ years age gap is like.
also the sacrificial nature isn’t anything new, he literally dropped out of school to raise yoohyun. plus he doesn’t see it as a sacrifice at all, being able to take care of yoohyun was what made him happy.
This self-sacrificing mantra that the mc has is such a turn off. If this was a fl a lot of people would have e dropped this, including me. Says alot about this story and certainly alot about me
