1. 2nd prince feels inferior because his origin is illegitimate. When jermel came, he remembered how inferior he is and felt guilty for having a good life while jermel suffered.
2. He tried to get out of Jermel's grasp, saying being an emperor is not all that, it's nothing. But motherfvcker jermel killed/annihilate callipa's whole family and threatened 2nd prince that he will kill Callipa if he doesn't become emperor.
3. As soon as 2nd prince let go of Callipa for Callipa to not be in danger, he slowly became crazy and his thought process distorted (I have a feeling Jermel drove him crazy when he's originally already a bit of an idiot) so we got an idiotic hysterical man.
To be exact, 2nd prince is incompetent but he's not bad originally and he genuinely like Callipa, but everything was distorted because of that dam motherfvcking bastard jermel

Calipa is my queen. Also, really baffling how someone with a decent childhood like the 2nd prince became so fucking deranged and insecure all because of one fucking guy jeromell. Granted, he's his brother, he stirred up his guilt blah blah but holy shit man, he was decently stable, but this one mf did his very fucking best to drag him down to his level and completely succeeded.
