I just started reading this and really enjoy the art and historical elements. But I'm kind of annoyed how Rishar only thinks about what he wants and doesn't particularly care about how his actions influence others. I see a lot of potential in Etienne, but his character is just getting wasted on loving Rishar. Rishar does have potential as well, but he's just too childish and naive it's driving me nuts.
PS: I'm at chapter 24 so I don't know what's ahead of me, but so far I'm just annoyed by Rishar as the male lead.
