I don't like Chinook, but I' didn't see any rape, taesoo just laid there and took it cuz he felt guilty, he was just aggressive in telling him to shut up. He never said no or get off me or even fought him, his whole character thing is about him letting Chinook get mad at him and letting him so he can forgive him later. Even the choking, dude just sat there thinking he deserved it, which is odd, and when he got up and threw up dude still ran after him, it seemed pretty consensual, he was just angry and the other guy was just let it happen (not trying to victim blame because people can be overcome with shock and not be able to do anything but he didn't seem in shock he was actually pretty calm in his reactions and face and even looked a little sympathetic. WHICH I find dumb cuz he genuinely is stupid and so I chinwoo, I don't know what he was trying to accomplish. I could be wrong tho I just dropped cuz this thing has aged me ten years, and I just wanted to clarify after reading I don't think the author wanted to portray rape in think they wanted to portray angry sex and that can honestly get misconstrued if not done right

Taesoo said that it was nonconsensual in one of the chapters while talking to the other dude. Forgot what his name was he just said something along the lines of “I said no but you continued forcing yourself on me”. Not being rude just lyk
I forced myself to finish reading this after the Incident and as much as I am happy that they're happy (despite hoin almost killing his best friend bc he has anger issues. he needs to go to therapy I fear, the bussy will never be that fire) I genuinely cannot get over Chunwoo sexually assaulting Taesoo. Him lacking the loyalty and doing that to hoin was one thing. Hoin lacking the self respect to put himself first and Forgiving chunwoo was another. But to r4pe and almost choke Taesoo to death was quite literally crazy and so unnecessary in terms of plot regardless of how much I didn't like Taesoo to begin with. It's sad because I genuinely believed this had so much potential since the chapters after are pretty decent. I know Chunwoo felt bad about it but imo I don't know if he felt bad enough about the actual sexual assault part outside of Hoin
