Yeahhh I was thinking the same it was alright up until around ch 23/24 but then it suddenly shot up like this with absolutely no previous groundwork in the story for it to make sense, plot ponts are introduced and solved almost immediately left and right, it's just... really bad pacing. I can handle mediocre art, but pacing is a dealbreaker for me.
I mean, it was established p quick that he was the top student thanks to bribery, not by skill. It would've been nice to see than get realised slower and take their time with it,, same with MC's magic. I'd rather really have her be without magic/failing at it for the next 5-10 chapters and slowly finding clues in figuring out she can do magic before trying it out. Maybe she could've simplified the magic spell but only after she had studied it a bit (my favourite thing in fantasy is when wizard/schooled magic, especially magic circles/spells, are referred to like math in our world. Something similar to that, even a genious has to learn the basics).
Like goddammit, I really wouldn't mind her being so OP if it was given time and let her build up to it actually see her struggle and overcome it!! Show off more of her medical knowledge before even attempting magic!!
And yeah I def feel you on how the artists draws the kids. I think it's because of the sharp chins and and tiny arms maybe,,, but it really looks odd it sucks because this has potential to be p decent but this really ruins it
What...
Whats with all the sudden coincidences, why is the story suddenly progressing so fast, what's with all the unnecessarily evil characters, why the fuck is she suddenly a magical genius when she was worried about not being able to use magic???
