I wrote another long comment- specifically about Lee Wooyeon’s character but the next scene is caused by a misunderstanding and an emotional outburst. Like an ASPD outburst.
It’s 100% Wooyeon’s fault, though, all his confinement planning & scheming finally blows up in his face- so he ends up lashing out unfairly to Choi Inseop.
and when he himself realizes this, is what makes him change. It becomes a trigger point, a new brake to bad behaviour. Their relationship dynamic will change for the better afterwards.
Honestly, it’s an emotional scene… it’s two rough arcs for Choi Inseop, but I love character tension.
I
Thé comment section got me wheezing, everyone is so upset and I’m like, we’re about t hit the climax we’re going to Hawaii—
Everything is about to change so dramatically aaaaaaahhhhhhhh
For those put off by the SA- expect one more major gr*pe scene, in Hawaii, but it’s sad and the ML finally learns his lesson. And the character growth people are waiting for, really starts to show in his behaviour.
But the second book, which is set a couple years later, is where the real character angst is fully explored.
I’m trash, but I do love the characters, and the ending is so good, and their happy and I’m happy and honestly I just, it’s dramatic, it’s heart wrenching and I love the resolution.
