Basically until chap 22 aka latest update, we would still confused because the plot is getting nowhere— i mean with how slow the story pace is... Poor hajime, he through so much yet author decided to getting him 3 deaths and maybe more..... (my guess)

like how he travels back in time after he heavy wounded or dying, so im guessing that the condition for hajime to through these timeline as we know he heavily wounded on first chap then get shot before woke up on diff future... And chap 22 showing he woke up on (maybe) different past too.. i won't surprise if he need to be dead again in future updates so he could go back on his own timeline
