I just notice after what you said. The seme did say Kane isn't his name when they first met and the reason uke keep adopting children on the remote island is also weird.Is Ronan also one of his adopted child ?So many questions about him.
I think more so than his own desires, maybe it’s a past life plaguing his mind? Like the original Kane, the one whose name he was made to take as a child. Really hope it doesn’t go all in on the sexual desire plot and still mostly focuses on mystery surrounding the father. Would love a scene where Kane digs up his brother’s corpse to see if he still has a heart. That would be interesting.
