You know what i don't like about this story is that Damian is bassiaclly controling her to suit himself, now i know that there are many manipulative ML's out there, but what i don't like is that he has decived her from the moment they met, and he never explained himself even when his friend told him it's better to do it sooner rather than later cause FL would forgive him if he explained everything to her, and honestly if i was her and found out years later that this dude lied to me about everything i don't think i would be able to forgive him, second he is using the fact that she still isn't used to high society to limit her interactions with other people and only trying to make her depend on him, even at the expense of her reputation being tarnished, i mean if by any crazy chance she fell in love with someone else, what would he do? maybe kill the guy?idk but it wouldn't end up well, and the most important thing is the fact that he is doing all of this so that she could end up with him, honestlly this is one of the stories where i don't wan't the FL and ML to end up together not because they don't suit eachother but because we saw how much FL loves swordsmanship and how serious she is about her duty as knight, so when she ends up with the ML she will become a duchess and that's a completlly different path from what she wanted, and becoming a duchess means that all of her years spend training would go down the drain cause who is going to allow a duchess to wield a sword, so IMO her ending up with someone who supports her dream to be a knight would be better for her, but that's just my opinion i might be wrong who knows ╮(￣▽￣)╭
