Lol what are you talking about? This shitty game forced her to walk the path of "gaining character favourability" and she did it in the best way she could. She never promised any character love and tried to protect all of them in various situations. Also, she didn't abandon him, he abandoned her and caused her misfortune with his obsession so, she had every right to cast him away. Had he not gone with Yvonne, maybe then you can somewhat blame her (not fully since she is barely trying to survive and she doesn't have free will in this game)
u clearly did not read the novel like Penelope is someone who's basically stuck in a world where she's going to DIE if she doesn't meet certain criteria. and this transmigration happened right after her life was finally looking up. it's unfair to expect her to actually love and get attached to someone in a world that she hates and wants to leave from. i feel bad for Penelope

I did read the novel and eckles ending was just too unfair, she knew he was being brainwashed by the evil spirit in Yvonne body but she didn't care. And if u read it you know eckles loved her so much he sacrificed himself for her. I do wish the best for her, but the way the author made pennelope seem so heartless there was just too sad
I understand what u mean but u have to understand she doesn't have time to worry about eckles when she was to busy trying her best to NOT DIE...like it's not her job to care about ppl who could literally cause her death

Say what you will but I honestly dont care about her situation to use eckles likes this then throw him away cuz he's no longer useful. To her he might just be a character but in that world he's a living human who's gone through a lot and his ending is just too sad and not deserved. Though I do hope she gets her happy ending too as she also deserves it
