Genuine answer with no intended malice: yes. As a westerner, I have friends who look fairly young and that's why they are just that - friends. I don't find it attractive at all, and like them to look "grown up" (with body hair, crow feet, muscles and taller than me etc) as I'm also a grown up. I want to date and read about people my age who look the same age as me. If they were legal and just looked young, I suppose I feel like I would feel insecure and judge my wrinkles and flaws against them or worry about how people see us, or worry they were immature. But it doesn't help that a lot of the west is aware of the Romeo and Juliet laws in some parts of Asia and it's often considered "an excuse" to draw kids. Not having a dig at you of course, but that is a common thing otaku here think.
I definitely think it doesn't help that, on average, Asians are quite short when you've finished growing and often not particularly hairy. Post puberty men look very different in the west when they've grown up.

Whenever I go in asian countries, no one would pointed out "ew you look like a kid" to someone who looked young. That is until i moved to toronto and suddenly i was not a possible dating partner just because they think i look like a minor—and it still happened even until i'm 28 now.
That is why i was always so pissed off whenever people are "why would they draw them like a kid blabal" when it was just drawing style.

I can see how that would be incredibly frustrating. I feel for ya. . By any means it's not fair to those like yourself who just LOOK young but are infact adults. As an artist/ illustrator you can choose how to portray your characters, its something that you can change but also draw having a traget audience in mind.
Again in not invalidating your experiences and I somehow understand where youre coming from, being attracted to a story where a character resembles yourself is something usually most people is drawn into I suppose..
My point is that the way the artist/author is portraying the characters like this is mostly seen as wrong and predatory for most people.

As someone who's Chinese and African, this is drawn like a child. While we do focuse on wanting to look young, there's still a huge difference between looking young and looking like a child. My brother (fully chinese) looks really young, despite him being 23, but doesn't look like a child. This manga is targeted for shotacons, especially if u view their past history.
While I have no problem with ppl being drawn short and dainty, you can still see from the head to body proportion and the face proportion if it's supposed to look like a child or not. Even if we tend to look young, out head to body proportion still look like the ones of an adult.

Drawing adult men looking young and not like a child isn't hard. You can make the head rounder and eyes bigger, but if u exaggerate too much it ends up looking like a child. Children are known for having big heads compared to their body and the younger they are the bigger the head appears.

I've genuinely explained to you why it's directed towards shotacons and somehow u don't get it. So let me break it down again.
Author A draws a manga. The manga contains alot of smut, but this is no problem. But Author A draw the nga that gets dick up his ass with a big head and tinny body compared to it. Author A is an artist and artist know a child-preteen is drawn with a bigger head than an adult, because its basic anatomy. BUT Author A doesnt draw just one manhwa where the nga w dick in his ass looks very young, but several. While Fan A could say it's just his artsyle, it's not true, bc the Top is always alot bigger and looks like an adult.
Author B draws a manga. The manga doesn't contain smut, but this is no problem. But Author B has an artsyle that makes every character look young. Now Fan A realizes, hey Author B doesn't draw smut and everyone looks youngish- so it must be an artsyle. And since the kiss was consenting, there's no problem. Fan A also realizes that Author A is fetishizing young looking boys taking dick up their ass, everytime. Normaly someone would say: "Hey that's weird", but Fan A is stubborn and doesn't seem to realize it
