real! but i think considering that they're together for more than 10 years, it's really difficult to get out of that kind of relationship.
I don’t think its fair to say that she has no personality or intelligence. It’s like Chunta said + it seems that MC might not have been in a good place either at the beginning of their relationship or throughout? The most recent chapters indicate that she may have no friends and family outside of him + she either self harmed or knew someone who did. I’m sure that whatever issues they had that she brought up, he would gaslight her / blame it on her or deflect it, and guiltily love bomb her later. His behavior thus far would support it
The thing about not being able to have a child either probably makes her feel terribly guilty, considering Mincheol’s desire for children + the patriarchal culture there. If anything, she probably felt grateful that he was willing to stay with her. Someone with no connections in an abusive relationship would naturally cling onto what little connection they have, even if its what’s harming them
it seems that will be the character development some people are like that after being neglected by others
Then i will be waiting for her full backstory of why she become selfless, maybe then i will re read this with different perspective. Yeah she has no friends, the important thing for someone like her is an honest friend that would call out her harmful choice.
(I mean i understand sometimes author just wrote characters just for the sake of the plot, afterall it's fiction)
I dont like a masochistic FL with servant mentality and Cinderella syndrome for real, reading because curious ppl hype this up so yeah, i mean every story has its own market I see the appeal though it's escapism story I would like this more (again MY opinion) if she at least has a bit of personality and intelligence, hell I'm someone who's not picky with whatever genres I eat up every angst every red flag story, but sometimes there's a moment when I can't get into it for a simple personal reason
