I don't see it that way. Both are his parents, but the cult follows a collective warrior society. Even Minhwan calls his partner "Master" and they are mates and have a son. The whole cult knows that Minhwan gave birth to Tae Heo too. But to Master, Minhwan will always be #1.
For the author to make the seme the only father when the uke is the one who so desperately wanted to have their son doesn’t make sense to me.
