yea except now they look like Harpies...
I think I remember that siren was supposed to look like that. Not just a resemblance to mermaid, but something something happened which caused people to imagine sirens sorta like mermaids.
Harpies have bird features but mostly human and sirens have bird bodies with the head of a woman :] they are similar with bird features but they are different!
Random lil facts: (Harpies are wind spirits and Sirens are of the sea. Sirens lure people with their melodic and beautiful voices to their deaths. Harpies steal food from human and screech so they can't sleep but can be scared off with trumpets and those kinda instruments.)
You don't know how giddy it made me when I saw the sirens cause usually people draw evil mermaids I bow down to this
