I'm a bit disappointed

I loved everything at the start till she left Ernon, after that everything started to feel rushed and it went downhill.
There was really no world building or understanding of the characters. We got to know of their past, but it felt like the author just slapped some sob story on random characters and called it a day. Soo many plot holes..

The war, which was the whole plot, just felt like it never happened, it felt so unimportant. The characters are supposed to focus on the war, but they're just blushing at Kasia. There was really no need for that harem plot because we literally didn't know who the "ml" was.

The clothes they wear.... Why do they have hoodies... Why are they not in armor when they're at war (it's how they literally introduced and symbolized that this isnt earth) ... There was no explanation of the wealth or status of this world, so I'm guessing commoners are rich asf to be wasting fabric on hoodie also. Idfk.

Everyone had some depressing or traumatizing childhood, but it was never explored properly. Most of the plot point were just never explained or made to be understandable. Their love story which literally just started suddenly at the end even though there was really no foundation for it considering Kasia was so indifferent to everything... I felt it when she was Etelle, but then it was abandoned.

There are just a lot of moments where I thought "damn that's stupid?".
For example night lady. what was up with that. She was literally only there to encourage Ernon x kasia.... Sage dude also... They're supposed to be at war, but they're so buddy buddy. It felt so unserious and like they were classmates having a good laugh. And when the emperor and his son was having their solo fight in the middle of the battlefield; the son was on the ground, took the emperors sword in his fucking hand when it was at his throat, and somehow caught the emperors arm?? This is literally a war

Also, where was the outfit in the cover. Why do they always wear sweaters that we would see on earth. The art style felt so "modern world + cute characters". When they're at war and should be wearing armor considering that's how they were introduced...

I'm so sad, I loved this, but I'm so disappointed.

Honestly... What was even the genre. It didn't focus on romance, yet that's what the ending is all about. It didn't focus on the war, even though that was what drove the whole plot. Is "world revolving around the OP character" a genre?

I read this all in 1 day also. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just a bit.. Lackluster. I liked it, but... A lot of complaints as you can see
