My personal opinion is that obsession and being fan of to an ‘idea of someone’ is very different from being with that person in reality. Putting people in a pedestal before even meeting them will usually just lead to some degree of disappointment and I’m not surprised that she won’t end up with the 2nd ML. I’m actually rooting for the ML and it seems that his personality is more compatible with the heroine’s.
