uhh in where sentece does the mom "telling ML" to gave up on his feeling or even engagement? I might be lost but i never read such a word ??
And they need time to tell Karen, she just have an amnesia and Forcing information on someone with amnesia can be harmful because it may cause stress, confusion, and emotional trauma. Like in ch two at some panel FL parents said she only remember "mi-kun" as her childhood friend and not "mitsunaga". Anw A better approach is to be patient for FL well being, thats why ml mom telling ML to make a move— in patient way (??? I dont really know how to explain this well in english)

She has the right to know her previous relationships, just cuz she has amnesia doesn’t mean you need to withhold information from her like she’s some sort of braindead idiot and erase her past as if it didn’t exist
