You do have a point in consequences. Been debating on this topic too bcs while it's true that i think it would be fine to consume materials such as this so long that one aware of the discernment, it is still concerning to have this drawn and executed.

Then again, this website itself contains lotsa stuff similar to this and obviously not minor friendly. The targeted audiences here should be catered to their preferences and as we can see, this website is that kind of platform.

There would be people getting off to the most 'weirdest' stuff ever but still have the awareness that it's fiction and wouldn't do the same if it weren't because they know it's wrong. That's why I think it'd be okay as long as one is aware. But then again, the issue is that not everyone can do that.

I too sometimes wonder what goes through the authors mind to come up with these creations. Besides the term 'shotacon', there are works much worst too and that it would fall under the face value of creator's reasoning trying to 'portray / deliver' whatever topics that would normally be perceived as an issue or to be problematic. For that kind of reasoning, their works would usually be much more accepted, despite not aligning with the said 'boundaries'. Everyone has subjective look on boundaries in this context and would vary in definition. Additionally, consumers would only be satisfied with what they want it to be.

I hope I did not offend anyone in any ways as I'm simply open and wish to be enlightened in different perspectives :)

As you said, although fiction has certain boundaries, some genre make their own. I agree! But sometimes some boundaries which are on fact extended also have to have some solid reasoning to it. It’s just that, this is fap material.. if it showed how it is problematic, the relationship of yuu and that child then I wouldn’t bat an eye. But it quite literally takes them so casually. Add the cute scenes and all, idk why those weird immodest scenes with a kid but even if you add it, please later do remind those people it’s wrong and weird, and not in a blanketed way, i.e. yuu! Yuu doesn’t do shit, that’s a major problem too!
