To anyone who found this title thru my "Actual Mpreg" list

Felt like I had to rant here (so I can link this to my list), but the inconsistency in the drawing/art left me confused more often than not.

1ST READ: I checked the last chapter first to see if it had a good ending. The birth scene reminded me of "Love is an Illusion" (natural, not surgical), so it interested me a bit. I checked a couple of chapters backward (I backtracked reading, lol) and found a chapter where the uke mentioned the baby kicked, but I couldn’t even see the bump??? In the last chapter, yes, it was there, but not that obvious due to the zoomed-out view, the blanket, and the cropping of panels. However, as I backtracked a few more chapters, MC is clearly pregnant (with all those dialogues mentioning his bump), but the bump itself was not even obvious—just flat and all (which doesn’t make any sense, imo). I was like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO TRICK? DOES THE ARTIST THINK READERS ARE DUMB? I understand it might be the artist's discretion, but if I compare this to "Unromantic," that's better—at least there’s a small, visible bump there. The artist had a clear intention to show only a mini bump and nothing more. I also think for mpreg MCs in hanbok, "Gorani Jeon" would be a better read than this. So, I initially dropped it without reading the whole thing.

2ND READ: Okay, I’m taking back half of what I said. Yes, there are 4 chapters where the baby bump was clearly visible, but the drawing/art is so inconsistent that sometimes the bump magically appears and then flattens, especially during side views. I was like, OH HI THERE, YOU'RE BACK, BABY BUMP—WHY IS HE FLAT AGAIN?!—OH, IS THAT YOU? YOU'RE BACK??—AM I TRIPPING OR IS HIS BUMP REALLY COMPRESSIBLE LIKE SOME FAKE SILICONE BELLY?—OH THERE YOU ARE, WELCOME BACK, BABY BUMP!—OH WAIT, WHERE DID THE BABY BUMP GO? I noticed that "the bump was shown" in chapters where the shirt’s wrinkles/folds made it look like there was a bump during a front or top view panel, or when characters mentioned something about this "clothed bump." I was frustrated that, by the last stage of pregnancy (nearing childbirth), his stomach looked so flat, but then in the next scene, he’s suddenly in labor, and the bump had a surprising comeback of the year (tho it’s just a bit visible with all the blanket coverage). It’s like the artist tended to forget to draw it, but I’m guessing maybe they just worked on this manhwa because they knew the mpreg trope is more popular than non-mpreg ones? But honestly, they didn’t want to draw the bump, so they avoided it as much as they can, used weird angles, cropped panels, and had uke’s arm cover it as an excuse?

TL;DR: After being shown for the first time, the baby bump would suddenly flatten in the next chapter, then reappear for a couple of chapters (hinted by creases/folds on the hanbok shirt), then flatten again in subsequent chapters, especially those with side view panels, and finally reappear during the birth scene, lmao.

Sorry, it’s just my OCD speaking.
