it's a torture, indeed. the mc suffers so much you think most of it is pointless, but you just can't stop reasing it because you wonder when oh WHEN he will stop suffering. you think that one thing will be the last and then you see it is not.
i do think it's worth it to reach the end because you get the feeling of freedom you will not get anywhere else. it's cathartic.
It depends. This story depicted so much trauma and realistic response. If your stomach can’t handle it, it’s better to skip it.
Toxicity is highly romanticized in this story and that’s the beauty of it. Life is toxic, unfair, and unjust.
