True, but if she’s already voiced her concerns and he said that everything is chill (and not even just him people around him too) then she does need to back off and know her place no matter how she feels.
And I feel like it’s even worse if she already knows his dad is cheating on his mom. And is therefore trying to encourage him to do the same to Miesa. It all just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Don't be sorry, you're absolutely right. What we wouldn't like is if the maid had acted upon her wishes regardless of what her masters say. We just hope she doesn't do anything rash and just believe in her master. Although it might be hard, that's what servants should be doing. Having faith and loyalty to their master. If she fails to have that and acts against the wishes of her master, then she shouldn't really be in a place of authority within the household.
Well, I don't actually know about the others. But at least, this is what I think.
They're not okay with it (not everyone atleast) but no one dares to go against the emperor so they don't really have a choice either
Also the mom is most likely projecting her dead daughter on miesa but whatever as long as miesa is safe
Sorry but maid is kinda reasonable here. I’d be so confused and horrified as to why everyone is acting okay with a mad/childish lady as the next head’s wife.
I also love how the mom still prefers Miesa as Eirik’s wife given her circumstances
