Honestly? That ain't much different from how a modern woman would actually react in the same place. It pisses me off how if it was a woman inside the flow of the story would be completely different.
They'd make her curry favor with the father and others around and be unwilling to fight and having to use "cuteness" and "cleverness" to change peoples mind... probably fall for someone at the academy that is stronger but didn't appear in the game and achieve peace with his help.
And honestly that's not the kind oc mc I want to see. I want to see a female mc that curses, drinks, smokes, fight if need to, flirts with men shes interested in, get revenge properly and kicks ass of people who deserves it herself. I'm tired of how women are unrealistically portrayed even when the target are other women.
