I think that guy will come later, maybe as a new student but I don't think he's the boy with orange hair, if you search on the internet there's a cover with the protagonist and the two rivals, but there's also a third character who can be seen from behind, I'm very sure that he's the rejected boy and he'll be the third rival

I think Iltak would definitely recognize him... It's only been 2/3 years (i think) and the name would be still the same, so I think it would be weird, but still a good twist, if only there was a bigger year difference between the rejection and the reunion, like middle school and university

I think the guy in Iltak's flashback (the one who confessed to him and ended up getting bullied by him) is actually the orange-haired guy. It makes perfect sense and would explain his fixation on messing with Iltak. I can almost TASTE this reveal, bro! (￣￢￣)
