There is indeed the anime though it's 80s anime,too old ,Gegege no kitaro.But the new one is just a movie about the mc father and his friend "the birth of kitaro" for 100th anniversary of gegege no kitaro
Thank you for explaining!!! I was just curious about the movie because I like youkai animes and I felt sad that no one was here, even if it was old. I would definetely check both.
Totally recommend the movie.It's already out.And although it's tragic,the friendship make people cry.And the movie explained most of the original lore too so it would easy to understand even if you didn't watch the gegege no kitaro anime series
