The translation I read the cousin was always a guy though?
MC becomes an actor because the tour guide (who's identity he takes on) has always wanted to be an actor and act with the big actor that he meets on the live show in Netherlands. He also takes on the role of caregiver for the guide's grandma.
I liked the novel, I think it's better att showing the inner feelings and turmoil than can be shown in the manhwa format. There are a few plot holes, have to admit. But also a lot of pain. ML has basically gone of the rails delulu after MC "died", it is not well shown here.
And MC's depression, we'll see how the manhwa handles it.
so I have read a novel the names of the characters in that book is the same as this manhua
so the plot goes like this in the novel
- instead of being reborn or going back to the past, the mc decided just to fake his death
- the ML said that the corpse was not the MC that line is actually the same from the novel
- the cousin is supposed to be a girl not a boy based on the novel
- the first chapters of the novels and manhua is the same too but some of the details isn't
SPOILER WARNING FROM HERE ON
- the mc really didn't die in the novel he just faked his death, the corpse was the tour guide
- why did the corpse had the watch? it was actually left at the van
- based on the novel, the MC decided to be a actor
- did y'all know that the mc can be saved since he called the ml but the ml's white moonlight declined the call
- the cousin is a girl and she thought that this new actor was her in-law so she decided to chase him like an idol or a fangirl (yeah the mc was her in-law in the past but in his new identity it's a no no)
if y'all want to read the novel the title is
"After the Stand-In Shou Faked his Death"
I'll actually rate them both as an 8.5/10
