This back and forth of “should I, should I not” flirting hasn’t even been long yet I feel tired of it already. He likes her, she likes him, he’s ready to take the relationship further, she hesitates and refuses bc of their power dynamic it’s all so frustrating.
What she feels and thinks is valid bc at the end of the day, he is her boss and if their relationship turns shit, her career will be compromised, while his career will be alright. BUT I feel like the fl should have stronger resolve, stop thinking about him as a romantic object, blush at the littlest things, and most importantly, don’t give in to the flirting. If she returns his advances in a moment of weakness bc of his face or kind mannerisms, and turn around the next day to shit on his feelings bc of her reasons then she is stringing him along in her cruel game. It happened once, now he’s lying it on thick ab wanting her, so her resolve better be steel, no matter how annoying it is for us readers to see their relationship not progress bc I can’t stand a wishy washy fl.
Honestly, her reasons are valid for not wanting to date him, so I don’t see how this relationship can work out, unless she transfers to another company or she gets promoted to a higher position than secretary so their power dynamic isn’t so one sided. But she said she wants to work at the company for a LONGGG time as his secretary so idk…
