I feel exactly the same . And here the random guys hype up the ML even if he lifts a finger whereas FL is pretty much doing everything
Well...it's her story though. She went to him wanting to make him all powerful, while getting back at her family. Remember, she told him all she needed was his cooperation and power so, he basically doesn't need to lift a finger. It makes sense that she's running the show when she's the one who knows what's going to happen. He doesn't know what happened to her, as far as her having a second life. With her bringing him results, he has no reason to NOT trust her and thats why he lets her do what she wants/needs to do.
Honestly...he has the perfect situation. His Empress is useful. They have chemistry. And she came to him with a plan and is executing that plan nearly flawlessly, if not 100% flawlessly. In my opinion, it's good that she's doing what she wants and he's just kinda standing to the side, outta her way, while supporting her. He's not stopping her. He's not in her way. He's not gaslighting her as if she's just some woman who can't do anything. He knows of her fire powers now and the biggest thing: he trusts her and values her. With the two of them--his power and influence, mixed with her bad ass fire power, cockiness, shrewdness, wit, and her knowledge of the past--they are a force to be reckoned with.
I understand why you would feel that . Let's agree to disagree. I personally did not enjoy their chemistry that much and ML felt bland to me. Just because it's FLs story doesn't mean other characters have to be given so less importance. It's like dumbing down other characters to make the FL look cool making it less complex. While I enjoy this trope from time to time too (otherwise I wouldn't be reading 102 chapters in one go) doesn't mean I can't complain a bit . I was just making fun of how ML listens to her opinions or gives her a bit importance and the whole room is flabbergasted like that lmaoo.After whatever this woman has accomplished you are still shocked??? It would be weird if he did NOT . I would be hyping her more instead if anything.
Of course! And you have the right to complain--we all deserve to have moments to complain about stories. Especially the frustrating ones. For example, reading a BL called Stranger than Friends. The 2nd couple makes me want to pull my hair out. Anyway, I try to trust the process of the author and accept the Characters they write (sometimes....let me put that in all caps...SOMETIMES :-p). With this one, I'll accept that Lass is extreeemely OP. And this is her world/story and everybody else is just living in it. Lmao. TBH, I would like to see more of the Emperor. He's supposed to be bad ass too and while I love that he just let's her run amok, I do wanna see his power, even if he's on the sidelines. Actually??? Chile, I want more of SING. He's my favorite character outta everybody in this whole story if I'm being honest. I want more character development for him.

Also one thing I do like about the FL and ML is whenever FL is commiting atrocities ( I mean it's in for revenge in pursuit of power so it's understandable) ML is like Yes! Finally someone who matches my freak ! Or maybe even surpasses it- lmaoo Also they have a similar background because of their powers and have suffered abuse so they can understand one another more so that part is kinda nice ngl ^^
Kinda not digging the ML . He feels so passive like I don't get why people think he is all that
