I don’t think that’s the same at all. Minato has expressed his trauma and fears multiple times, and Shizuma has, just until recently, tried to understand but hasn’t tried to address the source of those fears. He says, “If the director makes you unhappy, I’ll quit my job.” That’s not resolving Minato’s fear of betrayal; it’s avoiding it. Minato aready opened up about the things he didn’t like, and instead of talking with the director and setting up boundaries, Shizuma just let things happen. And sure, he’s had traumatic experiences and fears as well, but it really feels to me like Minato has done all the growing and adapting in their relationship and Shizuma was already a great guy but hasn’t really done any changing to match Minato in return. Maybe that’s just me, and that being said, Shizuma is still the greenest green flag in these twisted, angsty stories.

Well, OP just said they wanted to see Shizuma jealous and didn't mention any details and I just said yes he was jealous, nothing more. And about addressing Minato's fear, well, his fear came from the insecurities inside himself and nothing Shizuma could do to ease it up. The problem wasn't the director, but Minato himself. That's why he said even if Shizuma moved he would just get jealous over someone else. And you said Shizuma should've set a boundary. You're saying it seeing them as two mere people, not an intern and someone in the highest pecking order. He literally couldn't do anything about the director bringing out his underwear, it was already in his pocket before he even came. So what do you want him to do, scold him? Say, if you were an intern, would you dare to scold your boss even if they mistreat you, especially one who seemed like they dislike you? See, the director had long been mistreated him and he couldn't even do anything about it but pushing through with his will power. And about the house visit. Say you're an intern and your boss want to take you out for business meetings, would you be able to refuse it? And if on the way there your boss wanted to take a detour, can you boldly refuse them? If you can then I applaud you, but most people in the world can't do that. My friend studied medical, and she said in her time doing intern the only thing she could do out of her free will was breathing. Another friend of mine (not in medical though) was forced to pick up her boss' kids from school and took care of his mother at the hospital, and she wasn't even an intern. That's why Shizuma offered the only solution he could give Minato, since as long as he was an intern under the director, he'd have to get along with him.
Yeah as the person said above setting boundaries is important even if they are the boss u can set it, but only if u want to...I'm not saying about the work, we can't do anything about it, but their are certain boundaries which can't/ shouldn't be crossed, but the boss of his crossed all of that, and shizuma didn't do anything about it. Running errands for ur boss is one thing that's shit sooo common in every country..
but this shit for eg. the shopping and the cafe scene this was sooo outside of work, he could've declined politely( HE COULD)saying he's busy but nooo and all that bullshit that happened there and that boss even gave him a lift and the hair scene too( I think I'm being dramatic like Minato but that was sooo unnecessary) when ur lover is over there watching.....And so many unnecessary scenes......
And about 'Minato is the problem himself' yeah he had this trauma since forever and despite knowing all these shizuma asked him out so it's his responsibility that Minato wouldn't feel insecure, if you can't do it jst don't date someone with trauma.
End of discussion...
Now u can see shizuma setting up boundaries, like I said he can do it if he want to, he should've done it from the very start but better late than never...
And tbh I only hated the director at first for being such a bitch but then I realised nooo it should be up to ur partner to set up boundaries, because there are bitches like this that are gonna come every now and then, ur partner can't stay insecure everytime that happens. So yeah it's up to ur partner, even if the third person tries to interfere they shouldn't be able to.........
Bye...
i kind of need to see shizu jealous…like he’s the perfect boyfriend and is always understanding, but he needs to experience firsthand how it feels to see your partner looking deceivingly friendly and romantic. he’s never had to worry bc of minato’s resting bitch face and general badass aura, but i would like to see it…
