I don't think so, it was mentioned that his father loved Jaeshin's mother and was sad to let her go, as she was a human. Also he loves Jaeshin, so I don't think he would want to see his son suffer like that, especially after having a human lover, just like he had.
Well i can see that they treasure each other (Jaeshin's fam) it's just my speculation and i hope it won't happen
Remember how Jaeshin played with someone's life before he was sent in the mortal world and was tasked to make someone fall in love with him? Maybe his father wanted to teach Jaeshin a lesson by making them fall in love with each other and letting Jaeshin experience the death of his partner to learn his lesson not to play with someone's life. It's just my overthinking and btw they're so cute! Obsessing on calling each other's name!
