yeah sjjsjs like not everyone is gonna like something and as long as they are not fucking rude in spaces meant for the people that like it only, it's fine to express your frustrations! like here in the mangago topics, these are meant for ppl to start conversations about what they thought of the story, so is not exactly a negativity free zone! it would be boring to discuss about the things i like without ppl that don't offer different opinions and perspectives.
I enjoyed the story. It's not that deep obviously since it's a corruption kink NTR lesbian porn, but I think the foundation of the characters was realistic enough. I think that's how you get people to be pissed off about what happens with them.
I'm gonna start yapping now, you have been warned.
Obviously, none of us are pretty girls in a lesbian period manhwa, but we can be taken advantage off and hurt others with our naivety like Lily, we can be so lonely that just one person won't fill the void in us, so we resort to excess and become selfish like Rose. Or, and this one is more common, we watch someone we love slip through our fingers because we weren't honest about our true feelings for them. I guess that's why so many people defend Anna and only feel bad for her. But Anna is also the only character with a real backstory and goals in life, a properly developed character. I would say, thought, the reason Anna is so well developed is because she's the one the reader is supposed to sympatize with because. Well. The NTR aspect of the story. But that's just my point of view.
Lily and Rose, there's no much to their characters besides some aspects of their personalities that are shown through the story and the fact that their character design is much more attractive because they're the ones made to fuck. They were quite literally made for each other. The lily of the valley is a pure white flower, sweet, small and cute. The Rose is red, charming, a well known symbol of love and passion. Rose was made to corrupt Lily and Lily was made to give in to Rose, that's why she starts wearing warmer colors until she's wearing red in the last chapter. I think Anna is the only one of them not named after a well known flower. She's lower class, daughter of a prostitute and a maid. In the cover picture, Rose and Lily are sitting and Anna is on her knees. She is an outsider from the beginning and she knows it.
Personally, I think Lily and Anna wouldn't have worked out anyways since Anna didn't want to be honest about her feelings, because Lily had been wanting for more intimacy waaaay before meeting Rose. I thought she wasn't sure of Lily's feelings and that's why she was distant, but when it was revealed that she knew and also felt the same but kept rejecting her advances I was like SELF-SABOTAGING!! "I wanna protect Lily" but you're hurting your girl? You feel dirty about your desire and you don't wanna make her dirty, but your behaviour towards her is already making her feel inadequate! And all that was happening before Rose was in the picture, so when Lily experienced what someone being into her was like, of course she was over the moon. Anna had many chances to tell Lily how she felt, but only did it when she realized Lily wasn't a goddess sent from heaven just for her, but a human like everyone else, with very human needs and desires.
Lily is a clueless, sheltered girl who is constantly thinking about ~special love and touches~, a perfect target for any other to come and swep her off her feet. But it's just bad luck that she ended up in the care of a rich older woman with a thing for seducing and collecting beautiful girls for her secret harem. And Rose doesn't share. She's selfish, conniving, and has been lonely like Lily, but she never had anyone to show her that the unconditional love and passion of just one person is enough. Lily had Anna, but that also wasn't enough because of what I already talked about. Lily wanted more from just one person and it didn't turn out well. Lily is in Rose's harem, both of them have each other, but all three of them are alone at the end.
Anyways!! I wish it was longer actually, that would have helped for a better understanding of the characters, pretty sure if it wasn't such a quick read and we got to know them more as individuals our opinion on them would be different, but that could go wrong too, so maybe what we got is fine. 4/5, one extra star just because I love realistic unhappy endings and corrupting sweet innocent characters is my kink. I was indeed the intended audience for this.
