Yea, I get that the whole sibling relationship/bond causes understandable conflict. I had read a good deal and wanted to finish being put off by siblings to lovers as it seems.

In truth they aren’t even step siblings, if you read further she like other children of the Lagrange family were kidnapped due to their abilities. She’s the biological sister to the ML. Most of them don’t see each other as siblings but rivals or enemies. It’s more like the Hunger Games. FL played up the sibling act to survive while ML truthfully never viewed any children as siblings, the concept of family was taught by the FL. It’s interesting.
Really wanted to try reading this but after learning that she and her brother is the endgame, I've decided to give up. Ik some might argue that they're not blood siblings but nope, that doesn’t fit well with me, with that logic you can have a romantic relationship with your step siblings thats disgusting.
