Although I do think someone should back off after hearing that their crush is dating someone, he hasn’t really gotten any “proof” that Joon even has a partner. No pictures, rings, etc. Heesoo is the type of person who needs evidence rather than just words, I think. But I do believe he would stop chasing if they told him the truth. He cares about Joon and wouldn’t try to break up his relationship like that just because he’s jealous, he only went after Doha because he thought he was just someone else who had an unrequited crush on Joon, not his boyfriend.
I think the simple no should already be enough. They don’t need to prove a relationship to him. He is being invasive, obsessive and he is constantly overstepping Joons boundaries.
I agree with this, and I’m not defending Heesoo, but I’ve seen a lot of comments where people are getting mad at Joon for not cutting him off and rejecting earlier, when he’s been rejecting Heesoo since before we even knew about Joon’s college life.
People are getting mad at Joon for not telling him to “fuck off” sooner, but it’s been shown that Heesoo isn’t an easy person to please already, so Joon really doesn’t deserve the blame

personally i think there’s no justification that exists for continuing to harass a person and begging them to date you when they clearly stated No multiple times. And then further trying to force a kiss on them when they’re sleeping (wtf?) and then getting mad at someone else for protecting that person is crazy behaviour - and bad mouthing doha when he’s done Nothing wrong towards him is also extremely rude and horrible. even if joon is single, what that guy is doing is so freaking insanely rude and forceful and no one should have to suffer the supposed “affection” of a crazy like that. jon does not Belong to him and it’s disgusting that he’d assume so after being rejected SO many times. words can’t express how much i hate people like him , the freaking audacity
Pls reread chp 24 to understand that bastard won't back down even if he knew. He literally told Doha to his face to help him get Joon to break it off with his partner. Saying shit like Joon deserves someone better like him. While I understand that he does not know of Joon and Doha's backstory, it's still not his business to force himself and his feelings to someone who doesn't want it even if they were actually single.

When in reality Joon kept rejecting Heesoo already… he told him he was dating someone and Heesoo chose not to believe him. But people are also too mad at Heesoo for being rude to Doha. Heesoo has no idea that Doja and Joon are dating, and neither of them are telling him the truth, so it makes sense why he’d be mad at this guy (he doesn’t know) that’s close to his crush and is wearing his crush’s clothes.
They don’t necessarily need to “come out” to Heesoo, but if they told him the truth it would make things a lot easier, and I doubt he would spread rumors if he really cared about Joon (which he obviously does.)
