The ending definitely suffered because of all the unjust toxic bullying the author was getting. It should've taken at least another volume to properly wrap things up. I hope he comes back to expand on it. This will definitely be one of those stories all the toxic fans come back years from now and realize their toxic behavior was uncalled for.
