The poison was in Yvonne's cup not in the bottle. Yvonne wanted to stage it as if Penelope poisoned her out of jealousy like in the og ending and vilify her.
I never thought of that but I think the poison was place in cup as far as I remember from the novel. Perhaps if it's indeed mix in the wine Penelope definitely swig it straight from the bottle (for the sake of suspense)
yeah it was defo the cup. But imagine if she "acted crazy" for one last time and made the eckarts more guilty for treating her so badly her whole life. god that wouldve sent chills down my spine.
ik i was saying, 'if' they made it into a different scenario, but the same outcome to make it more dramatic.
it wouldve been so good if she instead drank straight from the wine bottle. like, it would be something og!penny would do, and the poison would be stronger since she would consume a lot.
