I still think something went wrong in translation (I think you might’ve gotten confused bc of the seme seeing the ukes photographs but it seemed to me that he saw them when he was in hs so not that long before he met him… the timeline is all messed up idk what happened there..)

The way I wrote this might have been confusing people but it’s been 8 years since they last spoke on decent terms after the whole incident but they’ve known each other for a full 15 years. When he says he’s loved him for 15, he means he’s loved him since they first met. Hope this is clearer. It’s not a translation issue but it wasn’t exactly clear.

No they stopped DURING school. So it’s safe to assume it was a few years in school and a few years in college/uni that they haven’t been speaking on good terms. It might have also been middle school instead of high school since a lot of kids get curious around that time and start making out and dating each other. In Korea, you’re in school uniforms until you’re 18. They start middle school at 12-13 so it’s very possible that they kissed when they were 12-13 and since uke freaked out thinking it was a dream and they were both at the start of their puberty. I’d need to reread the story to properly know the timeline and post it here but either it was in middle school (12-15) or high school (15-18) but either way there’s your 3+ years during school that they didn’t talk and you add a few years in uni since they are all of drinking age (21) and that’s at least 6 of the 8 years accounted for.
