Not defending the other guy because his actions were scum as well. But the seme isn’t exactly a good person either. It’s not just about portrayal. He’d been planning to get married since collage but in the first TL he made it so that he couldn’t refuse because of the accident (indirectly manipulating the uke into blaming himself for the marriage). He knew about the stalker but kept quiet even though he knew things could get dangerous. Even went as far as provoking the stalker by acting close to the uke. He asked the uke to accompany for his studies abroad even though he had no intentions of taking him along (hence no pain even though uke gave a difficult answer). There is definitely a high level manipulation on his end because otherwise the uke’s actions make no sense. “I can’t leave him because he is sticking to me even as I make his life difficult” the best thing to do is to leave him to make his life easier. But we know the seme is yandere obsessed.
If anything I think the uke is the most pathetic character of all. He had the chance to change things and he made all the same decisions then cries that “nothing changed”

Another cliched story. Make the seme look as bad as possible and he will choose the other one in the end.The other guy is no good either.He blackmailed the uke into sleeping with him and the artist are trying to market this to people as love.It's so fucking annoying. It was a huge waste of time for me to read this.
